Andy Kassier
Andy Kassier (*1989, Berlin) is a character. Literally — since 2013 he's performed “Andy Kassier,” a send-up of wealth and success, mostly on Instagram, occasionally in museums.
Graduated with distinction from Cologne's Academy of Media Arts, then spent his career asking what happiness is, how you get famous, and whether anyone on the internet knows you're joking. Nobody does.
Shown at the Saatchi Gallery, Fotomuseum Winterthur, Mathildenhöhe Darmstadt. Currently owned by us, hanging between some real plants. Fitting.
