Norbert Bisky (b. 1970, Leipzig) is the name in this collection you're most likely to already recognize. Trained in Berlin and Madrid, now working between Berlin and Andalusia.
His paintings take on beauty, violence, sexuality and destruction at full volume — nothing here is subtle, and it's not supposed to be.
Collected by MoMA, Museum Ludwig, the Israel Museum, Berlinische Galerie. One of us has won the raffle for his piece twice in a row. We checked the dice.
